This micro bit smart robot car based on the Micro:bit development board. The car fully exploited the compact and aesthetic features of the Micro:bit development board, using a micro:bit dot matrix screen as the main body and using onboard Bluetooth as APP communication.
The micro-bit breakout has a micro-bit connector, two 10 mm RGB LEDs, three SMD WS2812 LEDs, an infrared obstacle detector, line tracking sensors, an IR receiver for infrared remote control, a buzzer, a micro USB connector for charging the lithium battery, status LEDs, on / off switch, ultrasonic sensor connector, track for line tracking test. A connector for SPI, I2C interface, PWM output, serial port, I / O expansion is also available.
Programming environments
MICROSOFT PXTis a programming environment created by Microsoft (still in beta version) that supports both a graphical block environment, in Scratch style, and the JavaScript language.
PYTHONPYTHON has been and is still in development to allow programming of microcontrollers in a Python compatible language. The opportunity to use the Python language allows to give continuity, in a hypothetical educational path, towards the use of more complex systems such as microcomputers able to host GNU / Linux, like the Raspberry Pi series.
MICROSOFT BLOCK EDITORis a visual editor very similar to Scratch and represents the starting point for those who want to start programming. Like Scratch it is very simple to use but it is not a toy. Allows to
to deepen structured programming and event management. The method of composition of a program consists in choosing the blocks that represent the instructions, dragging them into the panel of the editor, configuring them in the customizable parts and "fitting" them correctly.
MICROSOFT TOUCH DEVELOPwas developed to implement the micro: bit programs using tablets or other devices with touch screens. Obviously it can also be used from normal PCs using the keyboard and mouse.
JAVASCRIPTis a development environment that allows those who have made progress in programming to develop programs using the textual syntax of Javascript, with a guided editor that supports the "click and drag" method, for the composition of lines and code blocks.
