This kit allows you to create a single display with 7 segments that recall of the fascinating Nixie tubes. It is composed of 10 LASER engraved plexiglass panels with the numbers from 0 to 9, three plexiglass frames (upper, middle and lower) and an electronic board with 20 miniature Neopixel LEDs (2.4x2.7x1.1 mm). Each panel is illuminated by two Neopixel LEDs on the electronic board and can be managed via an Arduino or compatible Arduino (not included), by mediating a special library. In addition to the 20 neopixel LEDs on the electronic board, there are also connectors with power and communication bus pins. The upper frame is composed of two parts, a closed part used as a lid and served to block the propagation of light upwards, and a part that serves to keep the 10 plexiglass panels closed in the upper part. The central frame is used to keep the 10 plexiglass panels at the bottom closed. The inferior frame underneath is closed and perforated so as to fit the bottom of the plates themselves, which are worked in such a way as to have a certain number of tasks that overlook the Neopixel LEDs in order to better receive the light produced.
