Shield for Arduino based on the module RN-42 of the Roving Networks indicated in all applications in which serve to establish a Bluetooth connection. All pins of the module RN-42 are available on 6 connectors. 
The first, signed RS232 serial interface through which the communication of data and commands, 
the second is that I signed and includes three of the available I / O module in the RN-42, 
the third connector is signed AD, whose contacts are only analog inputs and can be used by the Bluetooth module to acquire some information, such as the voltage level on the battery
the fourth is the connector marked SPI and through it you can write to the flash inside the module RN-42 in order to upgrade or replace the firmware
the fifth is the PCM connector marked and offers the ability to send via radio, to another Bluetooth device, an audio stream at a transfer rate of 64 kbps
the sixth signed USB that carries a USB connection. 
The shield also has a dip switch that allows you to set up the modes of operation of the module RN-42. The mode can also be set by software.
This project comes in kit. Some components have to be soldered to the included PCB.
