RPi relay board is an expansion board for Raspberry Pi (A+ / B+ / 2B / 3B / 3B+) with DIN rail mounting case, equipped with 8 high quality relays able to support loads up to 5 A 250 VAC and 5 A 30 VDC, an optocoupler for each input, LED for indicating relays status and the power supply, 8 jumper that allow to establish whether to control the relays directly from Raspberry Pi or through the input pins. If the jumpers remain open, the control takes place only from wired inputs, while if they are closed the control switches to Raspberry. It can be used with controllers such as PLCs using the inputs. Many development resources are available on the WiKi page, including examples in wiringPi, bcm2835, python, python-bottle (webpage control) and crontab (cron job).
