Board based on Atmel / Microchip ATmega1284P microprocessor with 16 MHz quartz, particularly suitable for applications where low power consumption and space are important. A series of jumpers makes it possible to disconnect the most absorbing components (the LED indicating the power supply, the LED on pin D13, the voltage regulator and the two pull-up resistors, 4.7K, on ??the I2C bus) while a jumper (normally open, but closable) activates a MOSFET that can be used to power external components (maximum 700mA if you do NOT use the on-board regulator but supply power directly) allowing it to be switched on and off by software the D12 pin. The dimensions, extremely reduced, similar to those of the series "Arduino MKR®", 56.1 mm x 26.3 mm, and also the pinout is partially compatible with some MKR® format cards. The amount of flash memory available (128K) and the amount of SRAM (16K) also make it particularly suitable for applications that take advantage of the FreeRTOS ™ operating system. |
