This module uses the principle of optical LASER light scattering to measure the concentration of particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) in the air. It consists of a LASER diode, a photodiode, a microcontroller, a low-noise amplifier and a suction fan.
The suctioned air passes through the detection chamber, where the LASER light striking the suspended dust particles is scattered in all directions and transformed into electrical signals that will be amplified and processed. At the output will be a digital signal proportional to the detected particle concentration. Particularly suitable for use with Arduino, Fishino or another microcontroller. It has two types of outputs, one digital UART and two PWM (one for PM2.5 and one for PM10).
The package includes: the module and the USB-UART converter
