This Converter is that converts HDMI input into analog VGA, it provides a simple way to output high definition image and sound to a VGA equipment. It’s useful for Raspberry Pi, Cubieboard, Cubietruck and so forth. The Converter also includes an audio jack.
Compatible with Raspberry Pi A+,B,B+/2.
NOTE: This product doesn't include the Cubietruck board and voice box which shows in the picture.

Configuration with Raspberry Pi

For to use this adapter with Raspberry Pi you must connect the board into network and give power supply.

By SSH connection with user “pi” and password “raspberry”, write down:

sudo nano /boot/config.txt

Remove (#) from the following lines:

hdmi_safe=1 
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_drive=2
config_hdmi_boost=4 #(settarlo a 4)

Save and close with CTRL + X, Y and then push Return.

Reboot Raspberry Pi with

sudo reboot
