Two-way remote control system, based on the GSM/4G A7682E module from SIMCom, which utilizes the GSM network for activations and controls. All settings are made via SMS or locally via PC (using the optional FT782M interface). It has two relay outputs with monostable or bistable operation and two opto-isolated alarm inputs. It can store up to 8 numbers for sending alarms. Settings and configurations are done via SMS; the management of outputs and monitoring of input status can also be performed with DTMF commands sent via a protected voice call. Protection involves recognizing the caller ID and/or entering a password. Power supply ranges from 9 to 32 Vdc, with a maximum current consumption of 1 A. The package includes the pre-assembled and tested device with the GSM/4G A7682E module and a GSM antenna in a stylus format with a connection cable. |

The SIMCom 4G module |
The GSM/4G module labeled A7682E is produced by SIMCom and essentially represents a Quad-band device compatible with GSM/GPRS and 4G/LTE. Devoid of a display, microphone, speaker, and keypad, it operates on frequencies of 850/900/1800/1900MHz, allowing access to the Internet, voice communication through calls, and SMS messaging. Contained in a package with dimensions of 19.6×19.6×2.4 mm of LCC+LGA type, with the contacts positioned beneath the body, it requires soldering either through hot air jet or in dedicated reflow soldering machines. The SIMCom A7682E is an LTE Cat 1 module that supports wireless communication modes of LTE-FDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE, specifically LTE-FDD B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20. It supports a maximum downlink speed of 10 Mbps and an uplink speed of 5 Mbps. In EDGE mode, speeds are in Uplink/Downlink up to 236.8 kbps, and in GPRS Uplink/Downlink up to 85.6 kbps. The A7682E module adopts a form factor compatible with SIM800C and the SIM868 series (GSM/GPRS modules), facilitating migration from 2G to LTE devices and simplifying design. It supports integrated network protocols such as TCP, IP, IPV4, IPV6, Multi-PDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, and the SSL communication security protocol. It comes with drivers for major operating systems (Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Linux, and Android) and supports RIL for Android 5.0/6.0/7.0/8.0/9.0, as well as firmware updates via USB/FOTA. The AT commands are compatible with SIM800 series modules, including both standard AT commands and most of the proprietary SIMCom enhanced AT set. Moreover, the A7682E module integrates major standard industrial interfaces such as UART, USB 2.0, I²C-Bus, GPIO, allowing for powerful expandability. These interfaces are suitable for numerous IoT applications such as telematics, surveillance devices, industrial routers, and remote diagnostics. The power supply ranges from 3.4 to 4.2 VDC (typically at 3.8V), with a maximum of 0.8 A in transmission. |
