This shield is used to interface to the mechanics of the machine DrinkMaker Randa. On the shield mounting the engine driver; the shield hosts the connectors according to the application as the one for connecting the limit switch (contact STOP), the strip of LED (contact STRIP), the actuator (SERVO) and a possible contact which make the order (for example, covers exit of a coin with electromechanical contact) whose connector is signed GETTON. They were then set up the auxiliary connectors CND3, CND8 and CND11, reserved to any developments that if you feel you can do it from you. There is also the LED connector, to turn on the decorative LED to be placed under the slot of the glass to compose the play of light. The limit switch can be NO or NC, connected between S and the positive or between S and mass, but in our application is NC, connected between S and mass; the purpose, the firmware of Randa sets for the corresponding line (A3 Arduino) the internal resistor pull-up, so that when the switch is at rest and is closed, the ATmega of Randa receives the logic zero, while in rest position reached, A3 is at logic 1. The choice to use a switch NC is dictated by the fact that the machine stops the carriage and the opening sequence, so if you cut off or a wire, we are certain that the machine stops.
