Breakout board based on the 434 MHz RFM69HCW transceiver module. It uses the SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) interface to communicate with Arduino or another host microcontroller, operates in the ISM radio band (Industry, Science and Medicine) which does not require a license. It is able of transmitting up to 100 mW at 300 kbps, covering distances up to 500 meters or more. It supports up to 256 networks with 255 nodes per network, has AES encryption to keep data private and transmit data packets up to 66 bytes long. It is ideal for realizing cheap wireless short-range sensor and actuator networks for home automation, etc. Several libraries are available for Arduino.

Note: depending on the micro-driver used, a logic level adapter (for example, see related products) may be required for correct communication. Such as with Arduino Uno, Mega, etc.
