Electronic board with a timed relay output, input for connection of a two-button for switch and motorized blinds, input for rain sensors (included). Particularly suitable to be used with control units for irrigation and motorized shutters, but also to various other applications where you need to detect the presence of rain or water.

If you need a flooding sensor in a local, you can put off (perhaps pasting with clear silicone sealant) the sensor to the ground, take it the threads (well insulated) to the circuit and with it you can control an alarm or directly an acoustic or visual warning device, but also the entry of a GSM remote control (like our TDG - see related products) in order to send a warning SMS in case of flooding.

Note that the water sensor can also be used to detect the pouring of liquids other than water electrically conductive as oils, liquid detergents etc. It does not detect, instead, the distilled water, because it is free of dissolved ions and therefore electrically insulating.
Avoid in any case to use the sensor in interdigitated contacts immersed in highly flammable liquids (solvents, gasoline), because although the low voltage functions is better to avoid risks.
If you want to use the sensor to communicate the rainy weather condition to a control unit, use the mono-stable (JP1 jumper on pin 2) with a short time: even half a second.
