The Mini SMART GPU it's a powerful easy to use embedded graphics processor mounted on a board with a 160X128 pixels, color LCD. It's NOT just another LCD with a HARD to program microcontroller, It's a Graphics processor that just receive orders(EASY) like "drawImage(x,y)". It's aimed to help developers to easily create advanced Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs). Now it features FAT data management functions(Data Logger) to create even more advanced applications in just minutes, not days.

The Mini SMART GPU processor doesn’t need any configuration or programming on itself, it’s a slave device that only receives orders, reducing and facilitating dramatically the code size, complexity and processing load on the master host processor. It offers a simple yet effective serial interface UART to any host micro-controller that can communicate via a serial port(8051, PIC, ATMEL, FREESCALE, STMICRO, ARM, CORTEX, NXP, any ARDUINO, Fez Panda, FPGA, MBED, etc. and PC(serialport USB-UART SX)). All screen related functions are sent using simple commands via the serial interface USART/UART.

The main goal of the Mini SMART GPU is to bring a very easy way to add colour to any application or project without the user having experience in handling LCDs and graphics algorithms. The Mini SMART GPU integrates FAT/FAT12/ FAT16/FAT32 format compatible with any PC, and up to 32 GB of storage for storing thousands of images and text files, no special format is needed.
