Device based on the Wi-Fi module MRF24WG0MA, the VS1063A-L by VLSI and managed by the microcontroller PIC32MX695F512H-80I/MR. Use the protocols defined by the IEEE 802.11 standard to create wireless connections and to distribute custom music or audio messages to any room in a home, office using the Wi-Fi network as a communications infrastructure.
It is a WiFi Broadcaster and allows you to sample an analog audio signal and transmit the digital stream to another homologous device or to any compatible digital player compatible with the standards (SHOUTcast and IceCast).

The WiFi Broadcaster is also compatible with the Ethernet Broadcaster (see related products), so it is possible to create homogeneous systems.
You can configure a unit in SoftAP mode and connect up to 4 modules (client) to the virtual access point, thus creating a private network of Broadcaster units.

It has a USB Host connector capable of hosting a common USB mass storage device. The type of supported devices is very wide, most common microSD or USB adapters can be used without any problems, the main limitation derives from the formatting that these devices must to have, the software is able to use FAT16 or FAT32 formatting and is compatible with long file names.
