Arduino Uno WiFi Rev2, in addition to offering the same functions as Arduino Uno Rev3, is equipped with integrated WiFi that facilitates Internet connection and an on-board IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor. The board, with the same form factor as the Arduino Uno, integrates the new 8-bit ATmega4809 processor from Microchip which, in turn, has 6 KB of SRAM and 256 bytes of EEPROM. The SoC module for wireless on-board communication is equipped with a TCP / IP stack for access to WiFi networks and can serve as an Internet access point. The module guarantees maximum security for the WiFi connection, protected by a new ECC608 cryptographic accelerator chip. It has 14 digital input / output pins (5 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, 16 MHz ceramic oscillator, a USB connection, an ICSP connector, a power jack and a reset button. A very useful feature offered by the Uno card is the support for OTA (Over-The-Air) programming that allows the transfer of Arduino sketches and WiFi firmware. |
