It consists of a micro switch and a status LED, this small module is suitable for use as a end filament detection system for 3D printers, where the possibility of connecting the hardware to the electronic board is given. The module bases its operation on the change of status of the output level. When the filament to be extruded has going ending, the module switches the signal from high to low level and, if the function is enabled in the printer firmware, it will pause the printing activity until the filament is replaced.
