This particular strand of PLA changes color (from neutral to red) only when it is exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet radiation; in other conditions keeps the original color. Printing temperature: 190 ° C-200 ° C. N.B. The filament does not contain harmful substances, comply with the safety of toys and food packaging specifications.
Additional Information
The PLA, Polylactic Acid, is a material of biological origin as it is obtained through polymerization of lactic acid. This is derived from corn starch and sugar cane and is biodegradable in appropriate climates and conditions. For 3D printing presents some interesting features such as a melting temperature around 160 degrees, which increases according to any other components added for coloring and greater plasticity. The PLA is rapidly spreading as print material is for colors and transparencies particularly attractive, both for minor problems to the press. Parts PLA are still strong enough to create parts of the printer.
