Shield for Arduino to measure and display on the LCD main weather parameters: temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. The meteo_shield was built around three analog sensors that are the "heart" of the device:
- MCP9700A Microchip to measure temperature;
- HIH-5030-001 Honeywell to determine the relative humidity;
- MPXH6115A6U Freescale to provide data regarding the absolute atmospheric pressure.
To these three sensors has been added an RTC (Real Time Clock), implemented with the integrated DS1307 from Maxim. With this shield we can transform our Arduino Uno in a real weather station.
